Getting Started

VPN Setup Guide

Account → Plan → Subscription → Client → Connection check. Complete setup in the panel first, then import the configuration on your device.

Interfaces vary by platform and client version. This guide refers to features such as “subscription,” “configuration,” and “import from link” rather than relying on button locations. Follow the options currently shown in the user panel and your client.

Create an account and save your login details

Use the “Start Free” button below to open the VPNZD user panel and view the account creation page. VPNZD requires no email address; create an account with a username and password. Follow the on-screen instructions, and check your entries before submitting—especially your input method, capitalization, and any accidental spaces. This account is for signing in to the user panel. It is not a server name in your client, and you don't need to create another account in the client.

Choose a username you can recognize and keep your password secure. A password manager can help; don't put your login details in public documents or chat groups. Not needing an email address doesn't mean you can skip saving your login details. You'll need the same account to view plans, get your subscription, and submit support tickets. If your browser autofills details from another site, check them before submitting.

When you're done, you should be able to sign in to the user panel and open the account overview. If you're still on the account creation page, read the nearby instructions and correct your entries. Don't repeatedly create similar usernames. If you aren't sure whether submission worked, go to the sign-in page and try the details you saved. Once you can access the overview, continue to plan selection. Creating an account alone doesn't mean your subscription is ready to use.

Choose a plan and confirm your order is active

Open the plans section in the panel and decide between a monthly subscription and a data package. If you regularly access business dashboards, international services, or everyday apps, start by reviewing the monthly plans. If your usage varies, compare the data packages. Choose based on the data you actually need; price alone doesn't indicate connection quality. See the full options and terms on the pricing page, then return to the panel to place your order.

Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date, not necessarily at the start of the calendar month. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Data packages include ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB. They remain valid until used and never expire. Monthly plans and data packages have different terms, so confirm which type you've chosen before continuing.

Select the plan in the panel and check the plan name, amount, and data allowance shown in your order. Follow the instructions to pay. Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT are supported; refer to the payment page for details. Placing an order and completing payment are separate steps. After returning from the payment page, check the order status and account overview to confirm the plan is active. Don't rely only on the completion message from the external payment page.

Your account overview should show an active plan and its data allowance. If the details don't update right away after payment, refresh the panel and check the order status. Keep your order information, and don't pay again immediately. If you need help, submit a ticket from the same account. VPNZD offers a 60-day money-back guarantee; see the refund policy for how to apply. Once your plan is active, you can get your subscription.

Choose this plan

Get your subscription in the user panel

Open the account overview and find the subscription or import section. The subscription link gives your client access to server configurations; it is not the same as the web address you use to sign in. If the panel offers a quick import option for your client, follow its instructions. To import manually, use the panel's copy function to copy the subscription link for your client to the clipboard.

Before copying, confirm that your plan is active and check whether the panel asks you to choose a configuration type. A client may support multiple formats, so don't paste a link in the wrong format. If the panel prompts you to open a client, make sure the corresponding app is installed. If not, go to the client download section first, then return to import. If your browser doesn't open the client, the subscription may still be valid—copy and import the link manually instead.

After copying the link, switch directly to the client's subscription import page and paste it. Avoid forwarding it through messaging apps, which can truncate the link. Treat the subscription link as an account access credential; don't share it in public groups, article comments, or screenshots. When contacting support, share the error message and the step where it occurred. If you need to send a screenshot, hide the full subscription link and any sensitive account details first.

You should now have the subscription from the panel or have passed the configuration to your client. Copying the link alone doesn't establish a connection, so there's no need to keep testing destination websites yet. If the overview has no subscription section, check that you're signed in to the right account and that your plan is active. If the client reports a format error after import, check that you selected the right client type, then follow the import troubleshooting steps on the support page.

Import into clients on each platform

Go to the client download section in the user panel and get the VPNZD client for your device. Both client downloads and subscriptions are available in the panel. The instructions below cover common platforms. Menu labels vary between clients, but the goal is the same: add a configuration from a link, confirm the update succeeded, and see a list of available servers. Don't paste the subscription link into a field for a single server address.

Get the client

Windows: Import a configuration in the desktop client

Get the Windows desktop client from the panel and open it after installation. Go to the “Configuration” or “Subscription” section and look for an option such as “Add configuration” or “Import from link.” Paste the subscription link you copied and give the configuration a recognizable name. Save it, then update or download the configuration and wait for the client to confirm success. If you use the panel's quick import, make sure the browser opens the client you intend to use—not another app left on your device.

After the update, check that the server list appears and that the VPNZD configuration is selected. If you see a configuration name but no server details, check the update error before trying to connect. Next, choose a server in the connection section and enable the system proxy or VPN mode provided by the client. The exact labels and permissions depend on the client.

macOS: Import the configuration and check system permissions

Get the macOS desktop client from the panel. After installing and opening it, add the link from the subscription or configuration management section. Paste the subscription, save it, and update. Confirm that the server list has loaded. If quick import opens the app but doesn't add a configuration, check the configuration page and import manually if needed. Avoid adding the same subscription repeatedly and accidentally selecting an older configuration.

The first time you connect, macOS may ask you to authorize a network feature. Read the system prompt, make sure the request comes from the client you're using, and approve it. If another app is already managing network connections on your device, avoid enabling both at once to prevent routing conflicts. Once the configuration updates successfully and the server list appears, you can verify the connection. There's no need to change unrelated system settings.

Android: Import a link and allow background activity

Get the Android client from the panel. After installing it, open subscription management or the configuration page and choose the option to add a configuration from a link. Paste the subscription, save it, and update. Check that the server list appears. If you pasted an incomplete link, copy the full link from the panel again; don't guess or add subscription parameters yourself. If quick import doesn't open the app, you can import the link manually in the client.

When you select a server and connect, Android usually asks you to authorize the VPN connection before it can handle your device's traffic. If the connection drops when you switch apps or lock the screen, check the client's battery and background activity permissions and adjust them according to your device's instructions. Settings vary by device, so you don't need to change every battery-saving option. First confirm that the client connects while open, then troubleshoot background operation if needed.

iOS: Add a subscription using the panel's instructions

On iOS, use a VPN client recommended in the user panel that supports the relevant subscription format. Follow the panel's current instructions to get the app. Open it and look for subscription management, add configuration, or import from link. Paste the subscription for that app, then update it. If the client offers both single-server setup and subscription import, use the subscription option; don't enter the full subscription link as a server address.

Once the server list appears, choose a server and connect. The first time, iOS may ask permission to add a VPN configuration. Follow the system prompt, then return to the client and check the connection status. If your device already has other VPN configurations, make sure the one you just imported is active. You may need to check the destination service's account region and network location separately. A VPN indicator in iOS doesn't guarantee that a particular service is available.

VPNZD supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux, with unlimited devices. For other devices, get the appropriate client and subscription from the same panel; you don't need a separate account for each device. For more on server selection, configuration formats, and billing across devices, see the buying guide. This page focuses on the initial import process.

Connect and verify your setup

Enable the configuration you just imported and open the server list. Choose a server in a region supported by your destination service. For example, when accessing a business dashboard, consider the region you normally use and the platform's rules. Avoid switching regions repeatedly while working. See the server list for differences between server types. For your first connection, there's no need to change multiple settings at once.

Click Connect or Start, grant any permissions requested by your system, and check the client's connection status. If the client distinguishes between “configuration enabled” and “network traffic routed,” make sure the latter is enabled too. A successful configuration download only means the client received server details; it doesn't confirm a working connection. If you get a clear error while connecting, save the error message instead of repeatedly switching configurations.

Next, open an international website or app you normally use and check whether the page loads and you can sign in. Keep the test consistent: check a familiar service first, then try the specific feature you need. A browser may show an old page from its cache, so reload it or open it again if needed. An app may retain an earlier connection; try closing and reopening it. Don't treat cached page content as the only proof that your connection works.

If the client says you're connected but a destination service is still restricted, distinguish network issues from the service's own rules. A service may also check your account region, payment details, or content licensing; changing your network location won't change those details. Streaming catalogs and AI tool availability also vary by service and region, so don't judge availability by the server name alone. First confirm that regular websites load, then check whether only one service is affected.

If none of your destinations load, first check your local internet connection, whether the configuration updated successfully, whether system permissions are granted, and whether another app is also managing network traffic. If only one server won't connect, try another available server in the same region and note what changes. If the issue persists, check the relevant troubleshooting category on the support page or submit a ticket in the panel. Include your device OS, client, selected region, error message, and the checks you've already tried.

You're all set when the configuration updates, the client connects, and you can access the services you normally use. Keep the working configuration and update your subscription when needed. To set up another device, repeat the client import steps. Manage your account, orders, and subscription in the user panel; the client handles the connection on your device. Keeping these roles separate makes troubleshooting easier.
